The Centerville FFA attended the Iowa Pork Congress judging contest at the Pioneer Pavilion on the Iowa State Fair grounds in Des Moines on Jan. 24 along with 45 other schools in attendance. Team two Maranda Rupalo, Brett Bauman and Hunter Moore scored 23rd overall out of 136 teams while team one consisting of Maddison Lange, Evelyn Rogers and Katie Morris scored 46th. Maranda Rupalo placed 31st overall individual out of 511 students. Maranda Rupalo and Maddison Lange had perfect scores of 50 out of 50 in the market hog class. Katie Morris had a perfect score of 50 out of 50 in the commercial gilts class. Submitted photo
