Payers to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Duane and Shirley Payer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19. Duane and Shirley were married June 19, 1956, at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in Poca-hontas. They moved to Centerville in 1970.

Duane retired from the Centerville School System after 23 years of service and Shirley retired from the 18-80 Club where she was director for 27 years.

They have three children, David Payer (Donna), Denise Sebolt (Rick) and DeNae Terry (Lee); seven grandchildren, Josh Rodrick (Chris), Steven Kaster (Shelley), Megan Sebolt, Staci Kaster, Scott Kaster, Melissa Novotny, Megan Novotny and one great-granddaughter, Kaylie Rodrick.
