Thoms to celebrate 50th anniversary

Bill and Jean Thom of Centerville will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary on Aug. 15. They were married in 1956 in Luverne, Minn. and have lived in Centerville since 1963.

Their children are hosting a casual open house on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Appanoose Country Club. Friends and relatives are invited to share in their special day. They ask for no gifts.
