Cowans to celebrate 40th anniversary

Gerald and Joyce Cowan of Meadville, Mo., are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 3 at the Meadville Community Center. The couple were married Sept. 23, 1966, at Unionville. Mo.

Hosting the event will be their children — James and Kerri Cowan of Meadville. Mo.; Tony and Lisa (Cowan) Hoskins of Linneus, Mo; Steve and Jill (Cowan) Hardy of Browning, Mo.; Brent and Kellie Cowan of Clemans; and 13 grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts.
