Richard and Jessie Davis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a casual open house at the Seymour American Legion from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3.
Jessie Cole and Richard Davis were married Sept. 14, 1956, at the United Methodist Church in Centerville.
Hosting the reception will be their children and spouses, Donnie and Joyce Davis of Seymour, Lois Clark of Pershing, Jimmy and Janet Davis of Maryville, Mo., and Charlotte and Albert Van Fleet of Allerton, and their families.
