Wendlands celebrate 25th wedding anniversary

Jeffrey and Lorraine Wendland celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to Branson, Mo.

Jeffrey Wendland and Lorraine Tarbell were married Aug. 28, 1981, at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Victor Clark officiating.

They have two sons, Derrick and Brandon.

Jeff works at Alliant Energy and Lorraine at Pizza Hut.

The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page. The Iowegian wants readers to think about the Internal Revenue Service scandal. Dick Polman in an editorial wrote "the IRS' targeting of small-fry conservative groups was not a conspiratorial socialist plot. It was knuckleheaded, ill-supervised bureaucratic ineptitude."
