Powers to celebrate 30th anniversary

Jerry Power and Judy Brinegar were married Sept. 8, 1976.

They have four children, Jill (Ken) Gamlin of Columbia, Mo., Julie (Scott) Cossolotto of Cincinnati, Jared Power of Moravia and Josh Power of Ames.

The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page. The Iowegian wants readers to think about the Internal Revenue Service scandal. Dick Polman in an editorial wrote "the IRS' targeting of small-fry conservative groups was not a conspiratorial socialist plot. It was knuckleheaded, ill-supervised bureaucratic ineptitude."
