Besses to celebrate 70th wedding anniversary

Glenn and Leolla Besse will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary Oct. 7 with an open house. The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Cincinnati Community Center on South Maple next to the city park.

They were married Oct. 10, 1936, in Centerville at the Christian Church parsonage with Rev. Tremble officiating. Their attendants were Glen and Mattie Walker, sister and brother-in-law of the groom. Their sisters, nieces and nephews are hosting the affair. All friends and relatives are invited to join the celebration.

The couple requests no gifts.
