Pictured left to right are Erlene Houser Pavlik (George) of Des Moines, Iona Thomas Baxter (Dale) of Bella Vista, Ark., Miriam Breese Phillips (Ed) of Centerville and Mary Kay Lowe De Kalb (Larry) of Joplin, Mo. The girls started kindergarten in Centerville and have been good friends all these years. They have all lost their husbands and try to plan a trip together once a year. Erlene’s daughter, Marcy, drives them on their trips. She works in Houston, Texas but takes vacations to drive them. They hope to go next year again.
