The winner of the 2009 Walter Tetmeyer $1,000 Scholarship is Preston Roberts.

Kaitlyn Appler awarded scholarship from Alliant Energy Foundation
Kaitlyn is Student Council President, a member of National Honor Society, was academic all-state in volleyball and basketball, as well as honorable mention all-state in volleyball, and a World Food Prize award winner. She was also involved in golf. Kaitlyn plans to attend Central College this fall as a pre-med student.
