The Iowa State University College of Human Sciences and its academic departments offered over $800,000 in scholarships to students for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Two local students were among those who received scholarships.
Elizabeth Bogle, daughter of Rodney and Lori Bogle and a graduate of Centerville High School, is currently a sophomore majoring in dietetics and received the Neva M. Petersen Scholarship from the College of Human Sciences.
Kennedy Clouse, daughter of Chris and Anne Clouse and a graduate of Moravia High School, is currently a senior majoring in child, adult and family services and received the Lulu L. Tregoning Scholarship from the College of Human Sciences.
