Summa Cum Laude is awarded to those with a 3.8 to 4.0 grade point average, Magna Cum Laude (3.6-3.79 g.p.a.) and Cum Laude (3.3-3.59 g.p.a.)

William Penn University
William Penn University announces spring 2009 College for Working Adults graduates.
Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises were held Saturday, May 9, in the new recreation center nicknamed the PAC at William Penn University. It was the first year that William Penn conferred graduate degrees.

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State University has released the Spring 2009 Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs' List. To qualify for this list, an undergraduate student must attain a semester 3.50-3.99 grade point average and must complete 12 semester hours of credit.

AMES– More than 4,750 Iowa State University undergraduates have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the 2009 spring semester Dean's List.
Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
