Frank Reznicek was recently presented with the 2008-2009 Friend of Education Award from the Centerville Community School District.
The annual award goes to someone who has made significant contributions to the school system.
“Education has always been important in my family,” Reznicek said. “That was instilled in all my siblings from my parents.”
Reznicek was nominated by Paula Brinegar who said she felt Reznicek deserved recognition for all he had been involved in, including donations, buying school supplies, field trips and booster club.
“I went through the school system here in Centerville and graduated high school, so I am happy to support the Centerville school system,” said Reznicek. “I am honored to receive the award and delighted that Paula nominated me.”
