Mock, McAninch engaged, plan October wedding

Lori Mock and Shawn McAninch announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tom and Dixie Mock of Albia and the granddaughter of Earlene Spencer of Moravia and Martha Jane Mock of Albia. She is a 1998 graduate of Albia High School and is employed at First Iowa State Bank in Albia.

McAninch is the son of Charles and Linda McAninch of Moravia. Grandson of Bonnie Talbot of Centerville, he is a 1996 graduate of Moravia High School. He is employed at McAninch Corporation in Des Moines.

An Oct. 21 wedding is planned.

The Iowegian wants readers to think about the debate Rep. Larry Sheets talks about at the state capital centered on "accepting Medicaid expansion as defined by the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), or choosing to create an Iowa specific health care program.
