CENTERVILLE —
The Exline Ramblers hayride was cancelled due to weather so we opted to meet on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 3:30 p.m. at the Exline City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by leaders Shawn Tait and Jodie McCoy. The meeting goals were to plan for our upcoming annual soup supper and sign up for items to bring, finish passing out our new club T-shirts, review the enrollment process and elect new officers.
Our election results for 2012-13 are as follows:
President, Skyler Lawson
Vice president, Austin Nielsen
Secretary, Kirsten Brauman
Treasurer, Trey McCoy
Photographer, Taylor Lawson
Several members offered to help with our club scrapbook committee as well.
The Ramblers wanted to recognize Courtney Chapman at the Extension Office for all of her assistance helping us out with enrollments.
Our theme for this year is “Get Jacked Up with the Exline Ramblers.”
We recapped that our fall fundraiser and Pancake Day float events were successful (there were about 24 members riding the float). We also received a nice thank you note from the Riddick family thanking us for the scrapbook that the Ramblers provided them in honor and memory of Master Sergeant Travis Riddick.
We are excited to have several new members joining the Ramblers and are looking forward to announcing them once enrollments are completed.
Our next meeting will be our annual soup supper on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. at the Exline City Hall.
The Exline Ramblers invite their family members and friends/mentors that have helped them with their projects throughout the year.
