Local youth used some of their vacation time for community service.
Members of the Dandy Doers 4-H Club met behind the Mercy Hospital at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 31.
The Dandy Doers divided into two different groups to deliver Meals on Wheels. The salt dough Christmas ornaments they made the meeting before were delivered to each house along with a meal. After Meals on Wheels, the club members met at Pizza Hut for lunch.
