CENTERVILLE —
Cody Korthaus, of Moulton, was named a recipient of the Charles B. "Chuck" Leemon scholarship at the 2012 National Junior Shorthorn Show and Conference in Grand Island, Neb., June 29.
Korthaus received a $2,500 scholarship sponsored by the family of Chuck Leemon in cooperation with the Shorthorn Association. The scholarship is awarded to a college student who is an active American Junior Shorthorn Association member and is based on grades, need, future goals and career plans in agriculture.
Korthaus is the son of Brenda and Marlan Korthaus. He is an Iowa State University student majoring in agriculture and has been involved in JSA and exhibited and participated in contests at numerous junior nationals.
