CENTERVILLE —
Dear Editor,
The Centerville Fire Department and all the area fire departments that responded in a timely manner to the tragic fire Tuesday adjacent to the Centerville square deserve the communities eternal gratitude.
This could have been a huge catastrophe.
But thankfully due to the training, advance planning on what to do if one of these buildings caught on fire a major disaster was adverted in part because of the excellent equipment and the knowledge of the leaders and the volunteers.
