CENTERVILLE —
The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page.
The Iowegian wants readers to think about the United States Postal Service.
The USPS recently announced that they will end Saturday mail delivery. Good idea? Will it save money?
So, the question this week is, "In your opinion, will the USPS save money by not delivering mail on Saturday?"
Go to the Daily Iowegian website, www.dailyiowegian.com, and scroll down the home page to POLL on the right hand side and cast your vote. Or call the Iowegian office at (641) 856-6336 or email the editor at iowegianeditor@mchsi.com to cast a vote.
Vote on the Question of the Week up until Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 12 p.m. The results will be published in the Thursday, Feb. 28 paper along with a new question.
Here are the results from the last poll question: "Should the city of Centerville conduct an extensive background check for all new employees even through contract employment?"
A. Yes received 97 votes.
B. No received 19 votes.
C. Not sure received three votes.
