CENTERVILLE —
The Daily Iowegian will publish an Editorial Question of the Week on the Opinion page.
The Iowegian wants readers to think about school.
After a long summer vacation, students all across the United States are heading back to the classrooms.
So, how does that make you feel? As a parent? As a student? Let the readers of the Daily Iowegian know.
So, the question this week is, "School's back in session. Parents, are you happy (they're out of my hair) or are you sad (I miss them so much)? Students, are you happy (I love school) or are you sad (I hate school)?"
Go to the Daily Iowegian website, www.dailyiowegian.com, and scroll down the home page to POLL on the right hand side and cast your vote. Or call the Iowegian office at (641) 856-6336 or email the editor at iowegianeditor@mchsi.com to cast a vote.
Vote on the Question of the Week up until Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 12 p.m. The results will be published in the Thursday, Aug. 30 paper along with a new question.
Here are the results from the last poll question: "Republican Paul Ryan is Mitt Romney's pick for vice president. Will Ryan help or hurt the Republican presidential ticket in November?"
A. Help received 97 votes.
B. Hurt received 49 votes.
C. Not sure received five votes.
D. Don't care received 24 votes.
