CENTERVILLE —
Dear Editor,
After the recent ruling on Obamacare, it looks as if we are going to have to take matters into our own hands this coming November and elect representatives to Washington that will work in the best interests of Iowans.
The Supreme Court recently ruled that Obama’s health care reform is constitutional regardless of it’s repressive provisions that increase taxes, healthcare costs and add more regulations. Obamacare would raise Americans’ taxes by $500 billion and would add trillions to our deficits. Our representatives, the people that are supposed to be watching out for us, are passing legislation that is repressive to their constituents — to us. In order to stand up to the big government philosophy that is currently dominating Democrats in Washington, we need to elect a candidate who actually wants to do what is best for us and who knows what it is going to take.
John Archer is running to become the U.S. Representative of Iowa’s 2nd District and strongly believes in the American philosophy of free markets, competition, and people who are free to make their own decisions; we can’t elect a representative who supports a government takeover of your life and the decisions you make. John wants to go to Washington to repeal those repressive parts of Obamacare and bring Congress back to the drawing board to make a more sensible decision for Americans and for Iowans.
Sincerely,
Austin Harris
Moulton
