CENTERVILLE —
Dear Editor,
I am well acquainted with Larry Sheets.
He is a devoted family man with a wife and eight children. He is a member of the Moulton-Udell School Board.
He is a very intelligent man, having applied for and received 15 patents while he worked as an engineer in the states of Illinois and Massachusetts. He has worked for AT&T, Rockwell International and Teltrend.
He had a big part in bringing MTI to Moulton, which added needed jobs to that community. He traveled to North Dakota to help accomplish that task.
Larry has three college degrees: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, a master's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in business administration. He has also taught at three different colleges.
I feel that he is well qualified and would make an excellent addition to the Iowa House.
Larry Sheets does not want to get rid of the Department of Agriculture. Larry does not want to ship jobs overseas.
And in reference to a letter printed in Tuesday's Iowegian, Larry has never stated that "it's his idea to give more tax breaks to rich people in order to create jobs for the rest of us."
It's fine to support a certain candidate, but please don't say things that are not true about the other candidate.
