CENTERVILLE —
On Feb. 23 the Centerville High School Speech Team will be hosting the district individual speech contest. The public is invited to watch the contest. The school will be hosting 35 schools with 517 entries that day. The day lasts from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work shifts are from 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are looking for volunteers from the community to help us run the contest. You don't have to be an expert to help! We will train you. Contact Centerville High School speech coaches Laura DePrizio at 856-7045 or Kayleen Durley at 856-0818 to volunteer for an a.m. or p.m. shift.
The theme this year is "Round Up of Talent."
