MYSTIC —
According to a press release from the Appanoose County Sheriff's Office, on Friday, March 23 at approximately 7 a.m. the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office, members of the South Central Iowa Drug Task Force, Centerville Police Department and Iowa State Patrol served two methamphetamine lab search warrants in the town of Mystic.
Search warrants were served at 311 W. Main St. and 208 N. Third St. in Mystic.
During the investigation, evidence conducive of the manufacturing of methamphetamine was found at both locations.
As a result of the investigation the following individuals were arrested at 311 W. Main St.
Terry Lee Firth, 43, of Mystic. Firth is charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine, a class “B” felony. Firth is being held in the custody of the Appanoose County Sheriff with a bond of $100,000.
Robert Warren See, Jr., 52, of Mystic. See is charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine, a class “B” felony, and possession of lithium as a precursor to manufacture methamphetamine, a class “D” felony. See is being held in the custody of the Appanoose County Sheriff with a bond of $105,000.
Fawn Renee Hennick, 47, of Melrose. Hennick is charged with conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine, a class “B” felony. Hennick is being held in the custody of the Appanoose County Sheriff with a bond of $100,000.
Arrested at 208 N. Third St. was Richard Lee Ruckman, 23, of Mystic. Ruckman is charged with conspiracy to manufacture less than five grams of methamphetamine, a class “C” felony.
Ruckman is being held in the custody of the Appanoose County Sheriff with a bond of $50,000.
The South Central Iowa Drug Task Force is supported by a grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
