CENTERVILLE —
Iowa Trust and Savings Bank Chairman, President and CEO, Jeffrey T. Young announced following the annual meeting of the bank’s Board of Directors on Jan. 9 the promotion of three officers.
Renate Deininger has been promoted to executive vice president. Her duties will include responsibility for multiple staff functions and managing day-to-day operations of the bank. Deininger is a graduate of Centerville High School, Indian Hills Community College and the American Institute of Banking in Bank Financial Management. Deininger has also served as a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors since 2007. She and her husband Tony live in Centerville.
Mark Dekker has been promoted to senior vice president. His responsibilities include managing all of the bank’s lending staff and loan operations. Dekker graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree as well as the Graduate School of Banking and the Iowa School of Banking. Dekker has served as a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors since 2007 and also serves as a member of the Legacies Board, is a member of Rotary and the Appanoose County Foundation. He and his wife Shawn have two adult daughters, Jen who lives in Chicago and Kate and her husband Luke of Neola.
Tracy Alexander has been promoted to financial services officer. Alexander is also the bank’s trust officer and her duties include direct supervision of the new accounts and teller staff along with trust operations and deposit compliance. Alexander is a graduate of Putnam County High School. She and her husband Scott have three sons Tristen, Tyson and Taylor and live in Unionville, Mo.
Assets of the bank have grown to an all-time high on Dec. 31, 2012 of $179,046,344.
Young states, “Our dedication to our customers is reflected in the continued strength of our business and by our employee’s determination and professional excellence. With strong equity capital, the bank has plenty of additional lending capacity and stands ready to meet all of your current and future needs. On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I thank the community for their continued support.”
Officers elected by the board for 2013 include; Jeffrey T. Young, chairman of the board, president and CEO; Renate Deininger, executive vice president; Mark Dekker, senior vice president; Dave Yahnke and Russ McGee, vice presidents; Mary Craver, operations officer and cashier; Kathryn Kearney, Moravia branch manager; Tracy Alexander, financial services officer and trust officer, Kimberly Beals, loan officer and Michael O’Connor, public relations officer.
