The non-profit organization, The Friends of the Drake Public Library, gives donars a great place to help the community and help reduce their tax burden.
“If you plan to give to a charity to utilize your right to a tax deduction please consider The Friends of the Drake Public Library,” Colene Chebuhar said. “We are fortunate to have received several sponsors since we put out a request on Sept. 27 for annual corporate and/or individual sponsors.“
Chebuhar said some sponsors want to remain anonymous while those listed below have given permission to use their names.

Chebuhar said sponsors are separate from membership dues, which have always been and always will be a crucial part of the income in our mission to support the Drake Public Library and to promote literacy.
Membership dues run from January to January and are $10 annually for families and $5 for individuals.
Any dues paid at this time will be for the year 2013.
The Friends of the Drake Public Library currently have 243 members and 13 of these have already paid for 2013.
