CENTERVILLE —
The Centerville Police Department is seeking the help from the public in order to solve a hit and run collision that occurred on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.
The accident was reported at approximately 6:51 p.m. after a passerby located an injured person laying on the street near the intersection of North Park Avenue and West Washington Street. The 21 year old male victim was transported to Mercy Medical Center with serious injuries.
The victim reported that he was struck by an unknown make and model motor vehicle while walking near the intersection. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Law Center at (641) 737-7100 or the Tip Line at (641) 856-3134. There is a potential reward from Crime Stoppers for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the collision.
