Toni and Roger Surber of Mystic lost everything in a fire that completely destroyed their home Sunday.
Pastor David Welch of the Plano Christian Church, also a representative of the American Red Cross, said the couple is going to need all household items and clothing because everything burned in the fire.
"The Red Cross will put them up in a motel for three days and give them $100 each for immediate clothing," said Welch.
"But I am also a minister and will work through our church to help them."
Anyone wishing to donate bedding, cooking utensils, furniture and other household items can bring them to Angel's Hands on North 13th Street, north of the Majestic Theater.
Welch said he would get information on the couples' clothing sizes to be published in the Daily Iowegian.
