On Friday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. magician and illusionist Keith West will be performing a full magic and illusions show to help raise money for the Moravia After Prom celebration. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. and West will be performing a 45 minute pre show as well. The performance is open to the public.
West gave a short teaser performance in the Moravia School Gym on Wednesday to promote his upcoming show. All grades were invited to watch the performance that included illusions, card tricks and more than a few laughs as several of the students became magician's assistants. According to After Prom Committee member Rhea Wilson, although the committee usually relies heavily on donations they felt the need to come up with additional ways to generate funds this year.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for students and children three and under are free. A family pass, good for two adults and two children, can also be purchased for $20. Tickets can be purchased from any After Prom Committee member or at the Moravia School. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the night of the show. All proceeds will go to the Moravia After Prom Committee.
