Open house and fundraiser held for EMS week in Mystic
From left are Mystic first responders, aka "Fire Marshall Bill," or J.R. Lewis, Kathy Hudson, Jeremy Hudson, Justin Hudson, Paige Seddon, and "new member" Brad Scott, of Moravia. They were at the Mystic Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services first responders building for an open house fundraiser Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The department raised $764 in the effort. Mystic Fire Department Fire Chief Phil Hudson said the money raised would pay for equipment, training and education for the EMS team.
