They were at the Mystic Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services first responders building for an open house fundraiser Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The department raised $764 in the effort. Mystic Fire Department Fire Chief Phil Hudson said the money raised would pay for equipment, training and education for the EMS team.
