The Centerville Community School District is asking for students, teachers, parents, support staff and community members to help provide feedback to some very important questions, according to a release from Richard Turner, school superintendent. Your feedback will assist the school district in evaluating their school improvement process and how well they are doing at meeting students’ needs.
The district has developed an online survey that is linked from the district Web site. This Web site can be found at www.centerville.k12.ia.us. On this home page go to quick links (lower left hand corner) and you will find “Centerville CSD Needs Survey.” This should take you to the survey. The survey involves questions from student achievement, school engagement, cultural diversity and overall satisfaction. The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete. We are encouraging those who may have more than one role (parent-employee) to fill out the survey for each role. Our younger students will be provided time and assistance at school to complete the survey. Computers will be made available for employees by their supervisors. Others needing computer access may contact any of the school buildings to arrange a time and access to a computer. The survey is ready now and will be available through Nov. 25. Anyone desiring to fill out a hardcopy of the survey can pick one up at the Administration building at 634 N. Main St.
We appreciate your time and assistance. Our goal is to continue to improve meeting our students’ needs. Your feedback is part of the process that will help us meet that goal.
