Are you a member of a Centerville area community group that would like some volunteer assistance with a project?
The Indian Hills College & Community Relations committee is planning a day for Indian Hills' faculty, staff and students to participate in a "Community Thank You Day."
The intention is to organize Indian Hills groups to volunteer throughout the community to "give back" for all that is done for Indian Hills.
This event, planned for Friday, April 19, is being scheduled as one of the activities for Community College Month that occurs in April. The CCR committee is asking Centerville area organizations, schools, churches, nursing homes, etc. to suggest projects that they would like to get help with.
Contact Joe Starcevich at (641) 856-2224 or joe.starcevich@indianhills.edu with your suggestion by March 15. The projects selected will be determined by the number and skills of the Indian Hills volunteers available for April 19.
