DES MOINES —
Be a holiday hero this season and give the gift of life to hospital patients in need – just one unit of blood can help save the lives of up to three different people. It is especially important to donate blood during this time of year, as poor weather conditions and busy schedules can often lead to a decrease in the number of blood donations which could lead to a shortage in the blood supply.
Help prevent a blood shortage this holiday season and make a difference in your community. Plan to give your lifesaving gift at the following blood drive:
Centerville Community Blood Drive, Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 12-5 p.m. at Grace Tabernacle Church, 914 N. Park St.
