CENTERVILLE —
The Centerville Big Reds football program will begin playing a two game per week schedule this season as they combine their freshman and junior varsity teams due to lower numbers in the program.
Instead of playing a junior varsity game on Monday then a freshman game on Friday, preceeding the varsity contest, the Big Reds have opted to play a freshman/sophomore matchup.
In weeks one and two, the Big Reds will play the freshman/sophomore game before the varsity game. After week three, the freshman/sophomore game will be played on Monday night with the varsity game holding its normal Friday night spot.
