Glennie Nadine Dicks turns 100

CENTERVILLE — Glennie Dicks was born June 25, 1911 to Roy Scott and Pearl (Long) Scott. She is one of five children, including: sister, Ruth (Scott) Kluver, brother, George Scott, sister Bernice (Scott) McGuire and sister Josephine (Scott) Moffitt.

Glennie married Samuel Truxton Dicks, June 4, 1929. From this union came three sons, including: Paul E. Dicks (Phyllis) of Marshalltown, Richard Dicks of Moravia and Donald D. Dicks (Joyce) of Plano. Glennie has four grandchildren including: Nick Dicks, Fonda (Hopp) Dicks, Stephanie (Hall) Dicks and Michele (Moore) Dicks. Glennie has eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She loves her family dearly.
