Marie Lillian Wright

CENTERVILLE — Marie Lillian Wright, 94, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at Centerville Nursing and Rehab Center in Centerville.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at the Oakland Cemetery south of Moulton.  Memorials have been established to the New Focus Inc. and may be given to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.  Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com.

Since Barack Obama was elected president, two significant things have occurred: The military repealed the "Dont' Ask, Don't Tell" policy allowing gays and lesbians to openly serve and just recently he publicly said he supports gay marriage.
