CENTERVILLE —
Helen Ross, 91, of Centerville, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Seymour Care Center in Seymour.
Helen was born March 1, 1921 in Davenport, the daughter of Vern G. and Alma Hanson Marshall. She graduated from Centerville High School and worked for 10 years at National Lock Company. She lived in several communities including Davenport and Rockford and moved to Centerville in 1985.
Helen is survived by three sons, James (Deanna) Ross of Loves Park, Ill., Donald (Linda) Ross of Roscoe, Ill. and Gene (Faye) Beer of Rockford, Ill.; six grandchildren, Eric, Jeff, Tonya, Jason, Storm and Mace; two sisters, Lois Cridlebaugh of Centerville and Mildred Adamson of Centerville and a brother, Vance Marshal of Flint, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Christianson; her parents; and a brother, Clifford Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Mark Waits officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville.
A memorial has been established to the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Centerville and may be given to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
