WASHINGTON, Ill. —
Louise F. Thomas, 93, of Washington, Ill. died at 8:55 a.m. on Sunday Jan. 6, 2013 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.
She was born April 20, 1919 in Jerome to Anton and Louise Starcevich. She married Bruno Thomas in August of 1940 in Centerville. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1976. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Rosemarie Domagall; two brothers, Frank and Paul; and three sisters, Mary, Marie and Anna.
She is survived by two sons, Tom Thomas and John Thomas of Washington, Ill.; one daughter, Kathleen (Bill) Rickard of Morton, Ill. four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Sacco of Centerville.
Louise was a homemaker. She loved cooking and was known to make great fudge. She also loved animals and gardening. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington and was a part of the Woman’s Guild.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Funeral services for Louise will remain private. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, Ill. is handling arrangements.
