CENTERVILLE —
Betty Jean Molett, 91, of Centerville, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Centerville Nursing and Rehab Center in Centerville.
She was born the daughter of Pete and Uneeta (Cline) Molett on Oct. 31, 1921 in Rathbun. She graduated from the Centerville Community Schools in 1939.
She worked as a sales clerk and a telephone operator for many years. She became a resident of Centerville Nursing and Rehab in September of 1985. She enjoyed her cans of Pepsi and going for walks to HyVee.
Betty was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Bill Molett; and a sister, Dawn Furlin.
She is survived by: Sis. Jermey (JoAnn Molett) of St. Scholastica Monastery in Fort Smith, Ark.; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with Fr. Bill Hubmann officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation will be held one hour before service.
