BLOOMFIELD —
Eric C. Teubel, 31, of Bloomfield, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.
He was born April 28, 1981 in Bloomfield to Dennis and Carolyn Egbert Teubel. Eric taught Title I reading and math at the Davis County Elementary School and was an EMT at the Davis County Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Centerville. He was a member of the West Grove United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Teubel of Bloomfield; a sister, Holly Teubel of Bloomfield; grandparents, Wilma Teubel of Bloomfield and Bernice Egbert of Centerville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Teubel; grandfathers, Richard Teubel and Henry Egbert; and uncles, Duane Egbert, Paul Underwood and Terrell Hill.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Bloomfield United Methodist Church with Pastors Kevin Gingerich and Shari Squires officiating. Burial will be at the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski. Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. on Friday with the family present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m. at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Davis County Elementary second grade teachers, West Grove United Methodist Church and EMS of Davis and Appanoose County.
