Kole Shepard

OSKALOOSA — Kole Andrew Shepard, infant son of Kirk and Keri Zemo Shepard, was stillborn Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.  

His family includes: his parents: Kirk and Keri Shepard of Oskaloosa; big brother: Korey Shepard at home; paternal grandmother: Vivian Shepard of Oskaloosa; maternal grandparents: Marion and Jane Zemo of Centerville; aunts and uncles: Kim and David Gile of Oskaloosa, Kris and Ruth Shepard of Frankfort, Ill., Matthew and Charlotte Zemo of Austin, Texas, and Kim and David Bulin of Simsbury, Conn.

Kole was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wesley Shepard and his great grandparents.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with the Rev. Michael Omundson officiating.  A private family burial will be held at a later date in the Forest Cemetery.

The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangement. The family will be at the Bates Funeral Chapel in Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. to greet friends and relatives.  

Memorials may be made to the Kole Shepard Memorial Fund.
