Jack Gerald Osborne, Jr. was born March 21, 1963 to Jack Osborne, Sr. and Delores (Wilson) Osborne in Pueblo, Colo. Jack died Dec. 8, 2011 at his home in Nevinville at the age of 48 years and eight months.
Jack lived in Colorado before moving to Iowa at the age of six. He lived in Shannon City and the Afton area until moving to Creston and Nevinville. He lived next to his father Jack and step-mother Roberta for the rest of his life. Jack had many friends and relatives.
Jack was extremely passionate about hunting and fishing. He especially liked working on cars with his dad.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Jack Osborne Sr. and Roberta Osborne of Nevinville, Iowa; two daughters: Jessica and Jaden Stuart of Atlantic, Iowa; sisters: Debra (husband Brian) Seals of Enterprise, Ala., Jennifer (husband Jeff) Burns of Centerville, Misty (husband Algeziro) Sales of Marshalltown; three nephews and two nieces; step-sister, Tonia Montoya of Creston; step-brother, Scott (wife JoAnn) Simpson of Bartlesville, Okla., other relatives and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Delores Osborne; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Billy (killed in a car accident in 1975); step-brother, Bryan Simpson; and nephew, Justin Seals.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, with Pastor Doug Brunell officiating at Pearson Family Funeral Service of Creston. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11 at the funeral home in Creston. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Dunnville Cemetery near Bloomfield in Davis County.
