Patricia Ruhl

CENTERVILLE — Patricia Ruhl, 58, of Unionville, Mo., passed away at the Putnam County Care Center in Unionville, Mo., on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011.

Her body will be cremated and the family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.

Memorials to the family or the Albia Seventh-Day Adventist Church can be sent to Playle-Jones Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, Mo.

This week the Iowegian wants readers to think about President Barack Obama. Since Barack Obama was elected president, two significant things have occurred: The military repealed the "Dont' Ask, Don't Tell" policy allowing gays and lesbians to openly serve and just recently he publicly said he supports gay marriage.
