Conservation groups within Appanoose County such as Pheasants Forever, Southern Iowa Whitetails, Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Appanoose Conservation Foundations have recently formed one group called the Appanoose County Wildlife Coalition. The coalition’s mission is to raise money through their Partners for Wildlife Conservation banquet to support local wildlife and conservation education, habitat projects and public land acquisitions within Appanoose County.
You can help the coalition achieve this mission by attending the first annual Partners for Wildlife Conservation banquet.
The banquet will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14 at the Manhattan Steakhouse.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m for social hour, raffles and a silent auction.
Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. with a live auction to follow.
For more information about the Appanoose County Wildlife Coalitions’s Partner for Wildlife Conservation banquet tickets, contact Mark Hoffman at (641) 895-1775.
