By general consent Maryann Wakefield acted as treasurer. The roll call was answered by 10 members. The treasurer’s report was as follows. There was $360.75 on hand at the beginning of the month. There were no receipts and no disbursements during the month, so the balance as the end of the month was $360.75.

The change collection to expand the amount of the Cottey College loan fund was mentioned. President Virginia Hays reminded the acting secretary to note that we will send a gift to the new chapter at Guthrie Center.
Marilyn Gorden and Elizabeth Sherrard were appointed to head the nominating committee. The following officers were secured during the meeting. Sharon Heien will be chaplin, Doris LaPaglia will be guard, Carla Assell will be treasurer, Marge Meyer will be secretary, Marilyn Gorden will be president and Sharon Cooper will be vice-president. A member to serve as corresponding secretary needs to be secured. President Virginia Hays reminded the group that the bylaws need to be updated to reflect the increase in dues.
