APPANOOSE COUNTY —
The descendents of Levi anf Ann Purvis held their first family reunion in Chillicothe, Mo. in 1960. This year on Sunday, Aug. 11 the families met again for their 50th reunion. Chillicothe, Mo. is a half way distance between cousins who live in Springfield, Mo. and Newton. A delicious co-op dinner was enjoyed at noon. Linda Fields gave the blessing. The afternoon was spent taking pictures and visiting and the children enjoyed the pool.
Those present from Missouri were: Ann Mae Tennant, Marie Tennant, Beverly Litle, Mike and Laure Tennant, Linda Fields, Gayle and Cheryl Brace, Paul and Don Robinson, Terry Title, Keith and Linda Litle, Austin Robinson, Chloe Gomez, Brittany Litle, Danny Litle, Jason and Logan Litle, Reba, Mike and Adrianna Hyde, Kyle and Stacy Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Sammi Jo Smith, Joey and Corinne Riggs, Alexis Geoff, Carrie Akers and four children and Aaron and Niki (Litle) Stapleton.
Those present from Iowa were: Ferrell Purvis, Dean and Reva Lain, Floyd and Maxine Purvis, Ione Purvis, Florene Brown, Lyle Purvis and Charlie Foster.
Those present from Minnesota were Greg and Shirley Tennant and Anna Wallace.
