CENTERVILLE —
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in cooperation with SIEDA are offering an introductory program called Food Preservation 101 designed especially for individuals with limited preservation experience.
Included in the presentation is a brief overview of food preservation, the current methods to preserve food safely and new recommendations to use while canning.
The program will be held on July 6 from 2-4 p.m. at SIEDA Community Action Conference room, 111 N. Main, and will be presented by Barbara Anderson, Family Nutrition and Health Program Specialist, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. There is no charge for the program.
