CENTERVILLE —
The children in Mrs. Reed’s class at Centerville Preschool recently went on a field trip to Rathbun Area Solid Waste Commission.
The field trip was prompted by the children after going into an in-depth study about garbage and the effects it has on the environment.
While at RASWC the children were able to grasp the concept of a landfill and recycling.
Jennifer Frampton at Rathbun Area Solid Waste Commission gave the visitors a tour and shared recycling information with them.
