CENTERVILLE —
Three Dance X-pressions dancers, Elizabeth Sells, Morgan Schmell and Maddie Kirkland were all named TOP Starz Performance Team Invitees at Talent On Parade’s regional dance competition this past April.
TOP Starz Invitees are asked to be part of a performance team, comprised of dancers from all over the country, to perform a production style number at the national finals. Sells, Schmell and Kirkland all participated in this production at TOP’s national finals in St. Louis, Mo. in July.
“This is such a great experience for the girls — getting to work with different choreographers in a roomful of dancers they do not know,” said DXP instructor Brittany Cosgrove. “It really pushes them to stand out and find their own place in such a big production. The rehearsal hours are long and we know it all paid off with their great performances.”
